St. Gabriel's is a lively,
friendly, open evangelical Christian church.
We want to make it easy for
people to come into church and discover more about God and
themselves. Our church services are very varied, some with
modern worship songs, led by our music group, and some with
traditional hymns with pipe organ. Above all we want to
worship God and lift up the Name of Jesus Christ in our
community.
Our life together in Huyton
is enriched by a range of ministries. We support and
nurture each other in our journey of faith by meeting
together in smaller groups throughout the week - some to plan
worship, others to study the Bible, and some simply to
enjoy each others' company.
We are trying to serve the local
community by witnessing to our faith in the way we live our
lives and through the many community projects the church
delivers. These include 'The Apple Trust' which employs over
30 people and provides support to over 200 children and their
families. Our facilities are a real hub of the community and
are used by organisations ranging from the Knowsley Ethnic
Minority Support Service to Karate.
The vision which underpins our
life is threefold:
- Community – sharing the
life of God together
- Connectivity – enabling those
who do not know Jesus as Lord to discover his love
- Creativity - keeping faith
fresh, exciting, relevant and vibrant
All are welcome to join us in our
worship and activities. Contact us for more information or
just come along - it would be great to get to know
you.
